Embroidery Backing Series
Non Woven interlining

Embroidery Backing Series

Our embroidery backing series is a specialized auxiliary textile line independent of fusible garment interlining products we introduced before. This full set of embroidery stabilizers focuses entirely on stabilizing fabrics during computerized and manual embroidery processes, avoiding fabric shifting, stitch puckering and pattern deformation. The complete lineup covers four mainstream industrial backing types, catering to diverse embroidery scenarios including apparel logos, lace crafts, towel embroidery and sheer fabric decoration. All materials deliver stable tension during high-speed machine stitching, and each variant features a unique removal method to meet different post-processing requirements of garment factories and embroidery workshops.

    Four Core Embroidery Backing Categories

    1. Tearaway Embroidery Backing Paper

This dry-process nonwoven stabilizer provides rigid temporary support during embroidery. After stitching, users can simply tear off excess paper around patterns without water washing or cutting. It leaves tiny fiber residue inside dense stitches for subtle long-term shape retention, perfect for stable woven fabrics like cotton, denim and canvas for uniform brand logos.

    2. Hot Water Soluble Nonwoven

Made of water-soluble polymer fibers, this nonwoven backing fully dissolves in warm water above 60°C after embroidery. No residue remains on fabric surfaces, making it ideal for freestanding lace embroidery and lightweight dress decorations that require zero backing trace. Its dense fiber structure holds heavy stitch counts without breaking during high-speed sewing.

    3. Cold Water Soluble Nonwoven

Different from hot water soluble styles, this variant dissolves completely under normal room-temperature cold water, suitable for heat-sensitive fabrics such as silk, chiffon and spandex that cannot bear hot water soaking. It prevents thin delicate fabrics from shrinking or discoloration during post-treatment.

    4. Cold Water Soluble Film

Ultra-thin transparent PVA film works as both backing and topping layer. It stops embroidery threads from sinking into pile fabrics like towels and fleece. Thin film layers dissolve fully in cold water, leaving smooth, clean embroidery surfaces with no hard edges against skin.

    Core Product Advantages

    • 1.Full range of solutions: Four backing types cover all mainstream embroidery techniques, allowing one-stop purchasing for embroidery factories.
    • 2.Stable tensile strength: Uniform fiber structure resists breakage under continuous needle impact of industrial embroidery machines.
    • 3.Flexible removal options: Tearable, hot-water soluble and cold-water soluble choices match different fabric and craft limits.
    • 4.Clean finishing effect: Soluble materials eliminate leftover backing, solving scratchy texture issues on wearable garments.

    Wide Application Scenarios

    • Clothing embroidery: T-shirt logos, suit badges, uniform chest marks, children’s garment decorative patterns
    • Lace & handmade crafts: Freestanding lace ornaments, embroidery patches, cut-work decorations
    • Pile textiles: Bath towels, bathrobes, fleece hoodies with surface embroidery
    • Delicate fabrics: Silk blouses, organza dresses, sheer fashion wear
